Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Orthopedic evaluations and treatments will be customized to your unique needs and symptoms. A typical approach involves manual therapy (soft tissue mobilization, cupping, scraping, manual joint mobilizations and stretching) , patient education, and building an individualized prescriptive exercise program to adjust necessary movement patterns.

Courageous Movement

Mobility classes partnered with Courageous Movement to focus on flexibility of the entire body, with an emphasis on shoulders, neck, upper and lower back. Classes will be able to be tailored for all levels and Dr. Mel will work with you to modify any stretches or exercises to your comfort and ability.

Dr. Mel graduated with her DPT from George Fox University in 2016. Since then, she has been practicing in McMinnville, OR where she also resides. She began TMJ specialization in 2021 and obtained her board certification TMJ specialty (CCTT) in July 2024. She is now the only practicing board certified TMJ PT Specialist in Oregon, and one of only 66 in the nation. Her passion is all things TMJ as well as fitness. More than anything, she just loves helping people.
